The Porters of Bangkok's Chinatown

The Wet Market in Bangkok's Chinatown is about food. Especially moving of food. Nothing of this would be possible without the help of Porters. Plenty of Porters. The Porters are the ones that give the market the "buzz", running their trolleys up and down the wet narrow paths between the stalls. It's hot, it's humid and it's dark except for when the sun shines in between the tall buildings during some short minutes of the sun's travel over the sky. I've spent one year documenting this hard working men and women who keep it all going. This page is a tribute to all porters of Thailand.
